Thursday Nights at LACE
Every Thursday, LACE stays open late until 9pm, and offers a wealth of interdisciplinary programs including lectures, readings, performances, live music, video screenings, and more. Thursday Nights at LACE is a series of integrated public programs created in collaboration with artists, curators, scholars, and arts professionals, designed to foster a deeper connection and engagement with the wealth of creative practices that make Los Angeles such a unique and vibrant place.
Recent Thursday Nights at LACE events have included performances by Dawn Kasper, Hannah Henderson, and Alison Wyper organized by Dino Dinco, rare musical performances by Ezekiel Honig, LA artist Steve Roden, and up and coming LA musician Infinite Body, two panel discussions featuring artists from Jancar Gallery's exhibition West of Center and then a discussion lead by artists and curators from our summer exhibition Speculative, a night of experimental sounds from Gil Kuno and The Haters, and a launch party for the new publication Native Strategies accompanied by a dance performance of Jmy James Kidd.
