Artworks will be on view at LACE, 3 – 15 May during regular gallery hours.

For three decades and counting LACE has commissioned and presented the works of over 5,000 artists and has worked with artistic pioneers such as Laurie Anderson, John Baldessari, Chris Burden, Mike Kelley, Martin Kersels, Suzanne Lacy and Bruce and Norman Yonemoto. We have become a force in the community and remain committed to championing the role of the artist in Los Angeles and beyond.

LACE’s benefit art auction each spring is an annual signature event where patrons have the opportunity to purchase 100+ original artworks by some of the most important established and emerging artists working today including Carolyn Castaño, Zoe Crosher, Brad Eberhard, Ken Gonzalez-Day, Alexandra Grant, Jenny Holzer, Salomon Huerta, Olga Koumoundouros, Steve Roden, Amanda Ross-Ho, Ed Ruscha, Christopher Russell, Anna Sew Hoy, Mitchell Syrop, Pae White, and Brenna Youngblood.

To insure quality pieces and exciting new finds, LACE invited 20+ guest curators to each organize a personalized exhibition featuring works by their favorite contemporary artists.

The event attracts over 500 art patrons, collectors, celebrities, artists, gallerists, and creative business executives from around the world. Invited guests include LACE members and special supporters, as well as supporting level contributors to MOCA and LACMA. Recent auctions have attracted celebrities and cultural leaders such as Tony Alva, Jesse Dylan, Rachel Griffiths, John C. Reilly, not to mention Dita Von Teese, who performed to a sell-out crowd. This year, the auction will be co-hosted by none other than Drew Droege as Chloe Sevigny and Nadya Ginsburg as Madonna.
