Artist's Biography

Peter Downsbrough is originally from New Brunswick, New Jersey and currently lives and works in Brussels, Belgium. He has exhibited in solo shows at a variety of places, including Barbara Krakow Gallery, Boston, Mass., La Verrière Hermès, Brussels, B. (2009), Àngels Barcelona, Barcelona, Galerie Cent 8 - Serge LeBorgne, Paris (2008), Galerie de Multiples, Paris, France, CAC Synagogue de Delme, Delme, France (2007), Wallspace, New York City (2005), and Muzeum Sztuki, Lodz, Poland (2004).  He has also been featured in group shows with The Fleur de Lys Gallery, Fleur de Lis Heritage Centre, Faversham, Kent, UK (2009), Kunstbibliothek Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, Berlin, and Autour et au-delà BROODTHAERS Onomwonden, Kruidtuin, Leuven (2008).

Curator's Biography

Phil Chang received his MFA from CalArts. His work has been exhibited in Los Angeles and New York. He is currently a visiting lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles, and at Otis College of Art and Design. Chang lives and works in Los Angeles.
